It would be nice if somebody could put together a nice normal Panels 3 box.... similar to Panels' rounded corner panel... only with squared corners instead. Then it could be tweaked as needed with color, etc. Right now there are mountains of rounded corners for Panels 3, just no nice simple boxes.

For square type of Boxes, they are usually very achievable with just CSS codes, without going into constructing images for the rounded corners. There would be some square Boxes which are exceptions. If you have a sample screenshot of the kind of Box you would like to have, I will better understand your needs.
Straight off my mind, a Box will square corners and have along its borders an embossed touch might be a candidate for image-based boxes. Otherwise, a simple Box with, say, a blue border with white color contents area requires just some CSS codes.
